The School of Fine and Performing Arts presents a Film Screening of "NAMBA" by Emily Momohara on Wednesday, September 18th, at 4 pm in CAC 280. A reception will follow in the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries, CAC 160.

Emily Hanako Momohara was born in Seattle, Washington where she grew up in a mixed race family. Her work centers around issues of heritage multiculturalism, immigration and social justice. She lives and works in Cincinnati where she serves as the Interim Studio Arts Chair,聽a Professor and heads the photography major at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.

This event coincides with the exhibit ReWritten: Photographers Reshaping the Narrative, on display in the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries from August 27th-November 2, 2024. Support for this 2024 FotoFocus Biennial exhibition was provided in part by FotoFocus.
