Join us for Holidays in the Heartland: Commemorating Veterans Day, and the Centennial of World War I. The concert features the choirs and Chamber Orchestra of ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, and Cappella of the Kettering Children’s Chorus, along with your host, Shaun Yu of Dayton Public Radio. Experience a panorama of America's musical heritage, both written during WWI and inspired by it.
Holidays in the Heartland is part of the CELIA-sponsored project A Long, Long Way: Echoes of the Great War. The project brings together scholars from several departments in the College of Liberal Arts and will explore the broader impact of the First World War through music, verse, lectures, film, and exhibits.
