Susan Chrysler White: Like Oil for Water
糖心原创鈥檚 Robert and Elaine Stein Galleries is pleased to present Susan Chrysler White鈥檚 Like Oil for Water. White鈥檚 most recent sculptures evoke excess, in both scale and their highly decorative nature. Primarily a painter, White鈥檚 current three-dimensional work seems to turn her paintings inside-out, exploding them through the use of suspension, plexiglass, and transparent layers of color. Of her work, White says, 鈥�Like Oil and Water, the title of the exhibition, speaks to a tension between seduction and repulsion, beauty and danger, come hither but resist.鈥�
