Joshi (Washington State University) have conducted a survey of a very important population of persons with disabilities: military servic e members and veterans. The purpose of this survey was to understand barri ers affecting information technology (IT) career choice for persons who ha ve acquired disabilities through military service. The results of this sur vey will add to the body of knowledge about issues affecting underrepresen ted individuals in the IT field. The results will also enable educators an d counselors to better advise service members and veterans.
