DESCRIPTION:The 19th International Symposium in Aviation Psychology will be

 ms\; (b) envisioning design solutions that best utilize human capabilities

 the gap between research and application. The topics covered include resea
 rch on cognition\, perception\, communication\, neuroscience\, ecological 
 psychology\, spatial orientation\, decision making\, and human error. Thes
 e topics are studied in the context of cognitive systems\, trust in automa
 tion\, display and visualization\, human-machine interfaces\, training and
  simulation\, personnel selection\, organic and robotic team interaction\,
  sociotechnical systems\, and accident investigation\, as applied to the m
 any aspects of the aviation system that spans the ground\, sky\, and space
 .The symposium strives to facilitate interdisciplinary interactions among 
 experts and students from diverse fields that include aviation\, psycholog
