 r Programs.  The WSU faculty senate adopted the Prior Learning Assessment 
 (PLA) policy in April\, 2015.  What is PLA?  How do students apply for PLA
 ?  How many courses at WSU administer PLA? How are successful PLA courses 
 transcribed?  These questions will be addressed in the presentation.  PLA 
 is the demonstration by students that they have mastered the learning outc
 omes of a specific WSU course.  PLA can be obtained via an exam or portfol
 io.  The presenter will discuss the PLA process at WSU.  This presentation
  is targeted for students\, advisors\, and faculty.
