DESCRIPTION:The 2016 Piediscalzi lecture will be delivered at 糖心原创 
 University on Tuesday\, April 12\, 2016\, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm\, in 163 A-
 B Student Union. The lecture\, entitled 鈥淩eligion and Disability\,鈥� will b
 e delivered by Dr. Darla Schumm. Dr. Schumm is Professor of Religion at Ho
 llins University in Roanoke\, Virginia. Her current research focuses on in
 tersections between religious studies and disability studies. She has seve
 ral published articles in this area and is the coeditor of three volumes o
 n religion and disability. She is also the coeditor of a forthcoming textb
 ook on world religions and disability\, and is writing a book tentatively 
 titled: Religion and Disability in America. This lecture is free and open 
 to the public. It is sponsored by the Departments of Religion\, Philosophy
 \, and Classics\, and the Office of Disability Services. For more informat
