As the DUREL\, Dr. Deibel promote s and enhances undergraduate research opportunities as well as develops in ternship and co-op programs. Dr. Deibel completed his Ph.D. in Applied Phy sics from the University of Michigan\, Ann Arbor and also holds a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Transylvania University. Prior to joining the faculty in 2007\, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of E lectrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University where he was a Direc tor of Central Intelligence Postdoctoral Fellow.
