 nvited to apply for a daylong seminar on campus (room yet to be selected) 
 with fellow students from around the university on Saturday\, Oct. 12 on t
 he theme of “Tolerance in a Free Society.”If you would like to participate
 \, you will be asked to do so from beginning to end (roughly 9 A.M. to 4:3
 0 P.M.). Breakfast and lunch will be provided\, as will an optional dinner
  at a restaurant off-campus afterward. There will also be a packet of read
 ings distributed in advance that you will be expected to read and give som
 e thought to beforehand. As compensation for your troubles\, the sponsorin
 g organization (the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason Universit
