DESCRIPTION:International Baccalaureate (IB) is a world-wide\, recognized c
 urriculum taught in 6\,812 programs across 5\,175 schools in 157 countries
  – www.ibo.org.  IB is delivered across 4 programs:  Primary Years\, Middl
 e Years\, Diploma\, and Career-Related.  IB is one of five external exams 
 accepted for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ an
 d is often compared to Advanced Placement (AP) in its rigor and quality.  
 Locally\, Fairmont and Springfield high schools teach IB courses in the Di
 ploma program.  IB tests are scored 1-7\, with 7 being the highest score. 
  The IB courses are taught as Standard Level (SL) and High Level (HL).  In
 ternational and US students have taken IB courses and completed the tests 
 needed for college credit\, yet ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ has been limited i
 n its acceptance of IB scores on both the SL and HL tests https://www.wrig

 \, 2019 to provide two presentations on how universities have developed tr
 ansfer policies for IB test scores.  The first presentation will be from 1
 0-11 in Millett 244.  The second presentation will be from 1:30-2:30 in th
 e Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL).  Ms. Sheikh is also available fo
