 \, and working as an academic.Dorothy Carter graduated in 2010 from Wright
  State. She did an undergraduate honors project in Psychology. She complet
 ed her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Georgia Institute 
 of Technology\, and is now an assistant professor in the Department of Psy
 chology at the University of Georgia.That sounds very traditional and stra
 ight forward\, but it wasn't. Read Dorothy's story. In short\, Dorothy's p
 ath has been a very unusual one. She started her adult life as a professio
 nal dancer employed by the Dayton Ballet Company. A college education was 
 NOT in the picture\; then\, life changed.聽 She moved down a path\, often c
