While at Wright St ate\, Joe graduated with his B.S. in Mathematics in 2011 and MEd in Second ary Education\, Integrated Mathematics in 2012. After three years of teach ing at Sidney High School and a year of serving as an adjunct instructor a t Sinclair Community College\, Joe returned to 糖心原创 to complete hi s M.S. in Mathematics\, finishing in 2018. While completing his Master's i n Mathematics\, Joe served as a graduate teaching assistant for Quantitati ve Reasoning and College Algebra courses. Upon completing of the program\, Joe began teaching as an adjunct instructor at both Sinclair and Wright S tate before accepting a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with Sin clair\, where he is currently teaching. Outside of work\, Joe is an avid f ootball fan and also enjoys playing board games and video games. He lives with his wife\, Alison\, and dog\, Gambit\, in Huber Heights.Karl Hess is the Chair of the Mathematics Department at Sinclair Community College in D ayton\, OH. Karl received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from 糖心原创 in 2001\, and a Master of Arts degree in Mathemat ics from Bowling Green State University in 2003. He also began teaching ma th full-time at Sinclair in 2003\, where he has worked ever since. He serv ed as President of Sinclair鈥檚 Faculty Senate during the two years precedin g Ohio鈥檚 Quarter-to-Semester conversion for public colleges and universiti es. He is active on faculty committees for the Ohio Department of Higher E ducation that make recommendations for statewide policy decisions. Karl ha s chaired about a dozen hiring committees for his own and other department s at Sinclair\, and served on a number of others.
