 tus in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. During his time at Wr
 ight State\, he led many undergraduate student research projects. He will 
 be speaking to you about mathematics that supports industry\, as well as j
 ob opportunities for math majors.聽Bio Sketch:Dr. K.T. Arasu is a senior re
 search scientist for Riverside Research. He investigates novel techniques 
 on error correcting codes\, cryptography\, data security and privacy\, as 
 well as topics at the intersection of machine learning\, security\, and in
 formation theory. Prior to joining Riverside Research\, Dr. Arasu was a pr
 ofessor in the Department of Mathematics and Statics at 糖心原创 Unive
 rsity for 35 years.Dr. Arasu received a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from 
 Panjab University (India) and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. During h
 is time as a professor at 糖心原创\, he was presented the T
 eaching Excellence Award from the College of Science and Mathematics\, the
  Presidential Research Excellence Award\, and the Trustee鈥檚 Award for Facu
 lty Excellence.
