A graduate of Curtis Institute of 
 Music in 2010\, Kuok-Wai was a recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher C
 areer Grant (2013) administered by the Lincoln Center for the Performing A
 rts (previous grant recipients include Hillary Hahn\, Joshua Bell\, Richar
 d Stoltzman\, George Li\, Anthony McGill\, Yuja Wang\, and others)\, as we
 ll as the 2016 Career Advancement Award\, Musical Fund Society of Philadel
 phia. Praised by the Vancouver Sun as a 'musician's musician' and for his 
 'sensitive playing' by the New York Times\, the Macau-born pianist is acti
 ve as a soloist and chamber musician worldwide. He has performed at venues
  such as Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall\, Tonhalle Z眉rich\, and Herku
 lessaal in Munich. 聽He also stood in for a New York recital for the legend
 ary pianist\, Radu Lupu.

Kuok-Wai鈥檚 principal teachers include Gabriel Kwo
 k\, Gary Graffman\, Boris Berman\, and Stanislav Ioudenitch. 聽He was also 
 invited by Sir Andr谩s Schiff to take part in his masterclasses in Europe\,
  and by Leon Fleisher to his mentorship program at Caramoor in upstate New
  York. 聽He will perform an exquisite program of works by Haydn\, Beethoven
