 r 10\, 2023\, and run through December 16\, 2023.Letter to my Father is an
  autobiographical video exploring Dugan鈥檚 estranged relationship with thei
 r father. In the video\, Dugan reads an undelivered letter to their father
 \, in which they try to come to terms with a difficult and distant relatio
 nship. The undelivered letter weaves together aspects of Dugan鈥檚 life\, in
 cluding their early gender nonconformity\, family conflict\, queer identit
 y\, personal relationships\, desires to create a family and become a paren
 t\, and鈥攗ltimately鈥攖heir father鈥檚 inability to accept them.Jess will give 
 a public lecture\, Look at Me Like You Love Me\, on October 18\, 2023 from
  5:30-6:30pm in Schuster Hall followed by a reception in the Stein Galleri
 es.
