DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in research? Are you looking for a Summer 20
 24 internship?ORISE (Oak Ridge Institute of Science & Education) represent
 atives will be on campus and want to talk to STEM (mostly but not exclusiv
 ely) students interested in internships/ research! ORISE provides research
 -based internship opportunities in governmental agencies. These opportunit
 ies vary in length\, from shorter summer internships to longer 12-month in
 ternships. All provide a stipend to participants and\, at the discretion o
 f the sponsor\, a health insurance supplement\, travel\, and professional 
 development/training support. ORISE has a whole supports more than 20 fede
 ral departments\, including the CDC\, EPA\, FDA\, FBI\, and NIH. https://o

 raduate through postdoctoral students. There are also opportunities for fa
 culty research.Note: Many positions require U.S. Citizenship\, but not all
 . Some are offered to non-U.S. Citizens who have lived in the U.S. for 3+
