DESCRIPTION:The Spanish Immersion “Day of the Dead\, Live!” will take place
  on Tuesday October 29 with 150 high school students from 10 Ohio schools 
 participating. This event is presented in collaboration with the Latino Ce
 nter. Over 20 ����ԭ�� student volunteers will assist the Spanish sect
 ion in preparing and organizing the day’s events.Spanish language activiti
 es will include ice-breaking games\, welcoming ceremonies\, four break-out
  sessions co-led by faculty and students\, a student-led tour of the Stude
 nt Union in Spanish\, a Mexican-inspired lunch\, entertainment\, raffle\, 
 and dance. All participating students will sign a pledge to speak only Spa
 nish during a day of Spanish language games and activities.This annual rec
 ruiting event brings top students to campus for a day of academically base
 d engagement.
