DESCRIPTION:Challenge yourself over Spring Break backpacking 29 miles throu
 gh one of the most spectacular canyons in the world. There is truly no bet
 ter way to see the canyon then hiking all the way down and back up. Elevat
 ion will range from 6\,400 ft on top of the South Rim to 2\,200 ft along t
 he Colorado River. Participants will carry a full backpack with personal a
 nd group gear\, and travel along difficult and remote terrain. This trip i
 ncludes five days and four nights in the canyon with a rest day at the bot
 tom to enjoy the magnificent Colorado River. \n\nCost: $475\, $100 deposit
  required to register with remaining balance due one month before trip dep
 arture \n\nCost Includes: all permits\, two nights in hotel\, ORC Trip Lea
 ders\, backcountry meals\, all equipment\, and transportation from WSU in 
 12-passenger van. \n\nActivity Level: Intermediate – Advanced \n	Physical C
 hallenge Scale: Level 4\, this trip is extremely challenging. This trip is
  not suitable for any person with a fear of heights. We will experience wi
 nter temperatures in the evenings and conditions on this trip could includ
 e snow and ice. *This trip requires a pre-trip fitness screening. \n	Remote
