Premier Health Partnership

ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ and Premier Health, two institutions committed to supporting the health and education of Southwest Ohio, have enjoyed a longstanding working relationship. Together, they have worked to educate and retain physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in regional communities.

In April 2024, the two organizations agreed to further align their operations to advance academic medicine, to improve community health, and to drive economic growth in the region.

This affiliation includes a shared vision to guide us: Together, ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ and Premier Health will work to advance academic medicine, improve community health, bolster workforce and economic development, and become the destination for future health professionals through acclaimed academic and experiential learning environments.

Nationally, the Boonshoft School of Medicine ranks 43rd — placing it in the top 25% — among 172 medical schools for primary care graduates in U.S. News and World Report’s 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings.
ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ ArtsGala returns Saturday, April 11, in the Creative Arts Center, offering an evening of performances, fine dining and a silent auction to support student scholarships in theatre, dance, music, motion pictures and visual art.
Because her own athletic career was cut short due to injury, Siobhan Fagan ’04 has made it her goal as an athletic trainer to ensure others in her care don’t suffer a similar fate.

Home to the region’s only adult Level I trauma center and the largest locally based clinical laboratory, Premier Health continues to build upon a more than 130-year legacy of providing clinical excellence and compassionate care to friends and neighbors across Southwest Ohio. The health system offers award-winning care at five hospital sites: Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton with additional inpatient sites at Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville and Miami Valley Hospital North in Englewood; Atrium Medical Center in Middletown; and Upper Valley Medical Center in Miami County.
