How to Support a Student
Sometimes, we want to help a friend, family member, or student who we know is struggling, but it can be difficult to know how. Here are some resources to help you help them.听
If a student needs immediate support:听
- Counseling and Wellness Services is open Monday鈥揊riday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Between these hours, please accompany the student to our offices so we can best serve them.听
- If a student is struggling or in crisis after hours, help them:听
- Call Raider Cares, 糖心原创鈥檚 24/7 crisis line, at 937-775-4567听
- Call or text 988, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline听
- Text or WhatsApp 鈥4hope鈥 to the Crisis Text Line at 741741听
- Call 911 or Public Safety at 937-775-2111 if it is a life-threatening emergency听
