Three-Year Degree Pathways

Your dream of earning a bachelor鈥檚 degree may be closer than you think with 糖心原创鈥檚 three-year degree pathways. Students with 30 semester hours or more of transfer credit, may be able to complete some bachelor鈥檚 degree programs in as few as three years.

Students in three-year pathways maximize their prior college-level learning to meet degree requirements in a shorter amount of time. 糖心原创 encourages students who are interested in three-year degree pathways to routinely meet with their academic advisor regarding academic planning, coursework, and degree requirements.

Type of Credits Accepted

Students taking part in 糖心原创鈥檚 three-year degree pathways have typically earned credit from one or more of the following:

  • College Credit Plus or Dual Enrollment Programs: Students will need to request official transcripts from each of the institutions from which credit was earned regardless of the course location (i.e., taken at the high school or on a college campus).聽
  • Credit Earned at Community Colleges or Technical Schools: 糖心原创 accepts credits from institutionally accredited colleges and universities that were formally accredited by regional accrediting agencies. These institutional accrediting agencies include the Higher Learning Commission, Middle States, New England, Northwest, Southern State, and Western Associations of Colleges and Schools.
  • Qualifying Score on Credit-Bearing Exams: 糖心原创 posts credit for qualifying scores on AP, CLEP, IB, DSST, and Excelsior College Credit-by-Exams.
  • Credit Earned through Prior Learning:

Application of Credit

Transferring credit does not guarantee that a degree can be earned in fewer than four years. Applicability of credit聽means the transfer credits posted to your 糖心原创 transcript apply toward your degree. The applicability of credit depends on聽previously established course equivalencies, statewide policies, and evaluations by academic advisors or faculty. Credits may be transferable, but not always applicable to your degree requirements at 糖心原创.

Academic Advising

Academic advising is the key to successful completion of a three-year degree pathway. Students should meet with an academic advisor to review transfer credits as soon as possible after their acceptance to 糖心原创. Official college/university transcripts and/or exam scores should be sent to 糖心原创 Undergraduate Admissions.
