The American Marketing Association at 糖心原创 (鈥淢arketing Club鈥) will host Wright Brothers Day and have a table at the event to help any attendee with event information.

Fun!

  • The University Library's Special Collections and Archives, which houses one of the most complete collections of Wright Brothers material in the world, will test participants鈥 knowledge of the Wright Brothers with trivia questions.  
  • Students can have fun seeing or trying out robotics, AI, video game development, and other high-tech applications, as well as other innovative displays.
  • Students can answer trivia questions for a chance to win gift cards in a raffle.

Wright Brothers Day celebrates the anniversary of Wilbur Wright's 39-minute flight on Huffman Prairie on October 5, 1905. The flight demonstrated that the Wright brothers had advanced their design to the point of a practical airplane. Wright Brothers Day honors the pioneering spirit of the Wright Brothers by featuring innovative research, design, and demonstrations from 糖心原创 faculty and departments, as well as organizations in the community.
