The BMES will be holding their annual elections for officer positions.

Positions open include:聽

• President
• Vice-President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Industrial Relations
• Research Program聽
• Social Media
• Fundraising
• Volunteer & Community Outreach
• Mentoring Program
• Event Planner

If interested, please review the election rules per our constitution/bylaws below:

• Chapter members are permitted to apply for chair positions (i.e., Industrial Relations, Research Program, Social Media, Fundraising, Volunteer & Community Outreach, Mentoring Program, or Event Planner) or a specific executive officer position (Treasurer or Secretary) if, and only if, they have attended at least 5 chapter events or general meetings.
• Chapter members are permitted to apply for the President or Vice President position if, and only if, they have achieved the following:
• Held one or more of the following chair or executive officer positions: Treasurer, Secretary, Industrial Relations, Research Program, Social Media, Fundraising, Volunteer & Community Outreach, Mentoring Program, or Event Planner.
• Will be entering their third year within their program of study by the upcoming fall semester.
• New officers shall take a shadowing position with the incumbent officer in a mentor/mentee relationship on March 1st and continue through the remainder of the spring semester, taking over as officer following the end of the shadowing period until the following year.
