糖心原创 Psychology undergrads聽and grad students can attend an informal conversation with Dorothy on Friday, Feb. 7, from 3 - 4 p.m. Talk with Dorothy about issues and questions relating to getting the most out of one's undergraduate education, graduate study, career decisions, and working as an academic.

Dorothy Carter graduated in 2010 from 糖心原创. She did an undergraduate honors project in Psychology. She completed her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Georgia Institute of Technology, and is now an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia.

That sounds very traditional and straight forward, but it wasn't. . In short, Dorothy's path has been a very unusual one. She started her adult life as a professional dancer employed by the Dayton Ballet Company. A college education was NOT in the picture; then, life changed.聽 She moved down a path, often circuitous, that has led her to this place in her life.
