The College of Graduate Programs and Honors Studies welcomed new graduate students to ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ with an orientation session and social and networking event.

For the first time since 2015, the number of students at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ has increased, with a total of 11,036 students enrolled for Fall Semester.

Students and professional engineers can develop new skills to enhance user experiences and quality assurance through one-semester microcredential courses at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´.

When students arrive on ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´â€™s Dayton Campus for the start of Fall Semester, they will find numerous changes designed to enhance their collegiate experience.

Artesia Dunbar, a clinical psychology doctoral student at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, will train to work with marginalized groups through the American Psychological Association’s Interdisciplinary Minority Fellowship Program.

Kelia McMichael, an honors student majoring in physiology and neuroscience, has excelled as an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Clintoria Williams, associate professor of neuroscience, cell biology and physiology.

Brian Merrill, associate professor of psychiatry at the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Boonshoft School of Medicine, received the Roeske Teaching Award from the American Psychiatric Association.

The program is part of a collaboration between ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ and Central State to help build a semiconductor educational program and microelectronics lab and provide experiential learning opportunities for students.

U.S. News included ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´â€™s graduate programs in medicine, engineering, computer science, public health, public administration, mathematics and business among the best in the nation for 2023–2024.

Amelia Whorton, who is pursuing a master’s degree in physiology and neuroscience at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, wants to make the STEM fields more accessible.
