UCIE Winter Break

The UCIE offices will be closed starting Wednesday, December 24听and will reopen on Monday, January 5. During this time, paperwork and email may not be processed. In case of emergencies, please contact the University Police at 937-775-2111. We will look forward to hearing from you when we return on January 5.

How to Login to your Student Accounts (WINGS, Pilot, and Email)

Students who are logging into your WSU student account (WINGS) for the first time, please follow the directions below:

  2. Find an eight-number digit听followed by U (ex: U0123####)
  3. Find a number and alphabet letters followed by W (ex: w01#abc)
  4. Find your PIN

After you find them please :

  1. 听
  2. Use your campus username (your w###abc)
  3. Create a password
  4. Once you log in you should see a webpage below

Did you get a visa appointment? to let us know if you are attending 糖心原创! (You need to login to your 糖心原创 account FIRST). We will assign you a Peer Mentor once you complete this form.听

Housing

Most of our international students live in Forest Lane, University Park, and College Park apartments. All these options and more can be found on the housing website.

Sign up for the Fall Semester

Sign up for the full fall semester! Students who sign up with on-campus housing can move in any time after August 1 at no additional cost.听Visit the housing website for application information. Note: all applications require a $100 prepayment for that semester.

  • 4 person quad apartment | $2287 housing + $60 residential fee + $200 telecom = $2547 per semester
  • 6 person quad double occupancy room | $1333听housing + $60 residential fee + $200 telecom = $1593听per semester听
  • 6 person quad single occupancy room | $1830听housing + $60 residential fee + $200 telecom = $2090 per semester

Uber Rides

We offer FREE Uber rides to new students from the Dayton International Airport. You must complete the for the rides!

How to get Uber rides:

  • Download the Uber app to claim your voucher (coupon).
  • Create an account with Uber using the phone application.
  • Please set up your payment method before you claim the voucher. (bold this statement please)
  • Check your email for a voucher link sent from our office and click the link.听
  • Check your Wallet in the app for the voucher.听
  • Apply your voucher when you request a trip.
  • Type in your housing address for the destination.

Placement Assessments for Undergraduate ONLY

All new Undergraduate students MUST take placement assessments听to help determine the proper beginning courses before meeting with their academic advisor.

Academic听Advising Information

Undergraduate students:听Find Your Primary Advisor

  • Log in to听.
  • Select Student Academics under Your Launchpad.
  • The name of your advisor will be listed in your Student Profile.

Graduate students:听Please reach out to your department directly.

How to Register for Classes听

Undergraduate students:听You should contact your academic advisor or faculty advisor prior for your course registration (mandatory).

Graduate students: Graduate students will have their department orientation, which is separate from UCIE orientation, and will register for classes during the department orientation. Please contact your department for more information.

Follow these steps to register for classes. You can also download our Class Registration Guide PDF document to see screenshots or watch the video below.

  1. Log in to听听using your Campus 'w' username and password.
  2. Select the听Student Academics听button under听Your Launchpad.
  3. Click on听Course Registration听in the menu on the left.
  4. Select听Register for Classes.
  5. Select the听term for which you want to see available classes, and click听Continue. You may receive notification(s) regarding holds on your account, etc that may need to be resolved before you can continue.听
  6. Enter a combination of the course听Subject,听Course Number,听Campus,听Level,听Part of Term, and听Attribute听(Delivery Method)听and click听Search;听or click听Advanced Search听for more specific options.
  7. Course information will be listed, matching the criteria you provided.
  8. To register for a course, click听Add听next to the听desired course; you should now see the course listed under听Summary听on the bottom right of your screen.
  9. To finish registering, click听Submit听in the bottom right corner of your screen.
  10. Click the听Search Again听button at the top right of the screen to search and register for additional courses.

Note:听Co-req courses听MUST听be taken together. For example: lab and lecture, writing intensive course and its writing component.
