UCIE Winter Break
The UCIE offices will be closed starting Wednesday, December 24Ìýand will reopen on Monday, January 5. During this time, paperwork and email may not be processed. In case of emergencies, please contact the University Police at 937-775-2111. We will look forward to hearing from you when we return on January 5.

How to Login to your Student Accounts (WINGS, Pilot, and Email)
Students who are logging into your WSU student account (WINGS) for the first time, please follow the directions below:
- Find an eight-number digitÌýfollowed by U (ex: U0123####)
- Find a number and alphabet letters followed by W (ex: w01#abc)
- Find your PIN
After you find them please :

- Use your campus username (your w###abc)
- Create a password
- Once you log in you should see a webpage below

Most of our international students live in Forest Lane, University Park, and College Park apartments. All these options and more can be found on the housing website.
Sign up for the Fall Semester
Sign up for the full fall semester! Students who sign up with on-campus housing can move in any time after August 1 at no additional cost.ÌýVisit the housing website for application information. Note: all applications require a $100 prepayment for that semester.
- 4 person quad apartment | $2287 housing + $60 residential fee + $200 telecom = $2547 per semester
- 6 person quad double occupancy room | $1333Ìýhousing + $60 residential fee + $200 telecom = $1593Ìýper semesterÌý

Uber Rides
We offer FREE Uber rides to new students from the Dayton International Airport. You must complete the for the rides!
How to get Uber rides:
- Download the Uber app to claim your voucher (coupon).
- Create an account with Uber using the phone application.
- Please set up your payment method before you claim the voucher. (bold this statement please)
- Check your email for a voucher link sent from our office and click the link.Ìý
- Check your Wallet in the app for the voucher.Ìý
- Apply your voucher when you request a trip.
- Type in your housing address for the destination.

All new Undergraduate students MUST take placement assessmentsÌýto help determine the proper beginning courses before meeting with their academic advisor.

How to Register for ClassesÌý
Undergraduate students:ÌýYou should contact your academic advisor or faculty advisor prior for your course registration (mandatory).
Graduate students: Graduate students will have their department orientation, which is separate from UCIE orientation, and will register for classes during the department orientation. Please contact your department for more information.
Follow these steps to register for classes. You can also download our Class Registration Guide PDF document to see screenshots or watch the video below.
- Log in toÌýÌýusing your Campus 'w' username and password.
- Select theÌýStudent AcademicsÌýbutton underÌýYour Launchpad.
- Click onÌýCourse RegistrationÌýin the menu on the left.
- SelectÌýRegister for Classes.
- Select theÌýterm for which you want to see available classes, and clickÌýContinue. You may receive notification(s) regarding holds on your account, etc that may need to be resolved before you can continue.Ìý
- Enter a combination of the courseÌýSubject,ÌýCourse Number,ÌýCampus,ÌýLevel,ÌýPart of Term, andÌýAttributeÌý(Delivery Method)Ìýand clickÌýSearch;Ìýor clickÌýAdvanced SearchÌýfor more specific options.
- Course information will be listed, matching the criteria you provided.
- To register for a course, clickÌýAddÌýnext to theÌýdesired course; you should now see the course listed underÌýSummaryÌýon the bottom right of your screen.
- To finish registering, clickÌýSubmitÌýin the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Click theÌýSearch AgainÌýbutton at the top right of the screen to search and register for additional courses.
Note:ÌýCo-req coursesÌýMUSTÌýbe taken together. For example: lab and lecture, writing intensive course and its writing component.
