Ambassador Programs provide an opportunity for students to study for shorter periods of time with a group of ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ students at various sites around the world. These programs are led by ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ faculty members.

These programs are for you if you would like to:

  • Study abroad for a short amount of time (1–3 weeks)
  • Enjoy a 3 credit hour class abroad with a group of fellow ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´Ìýstudents
  • Pay ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ tuition, and use ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ financial aid

With our external partner programs, students are able to go abroad for a summer, semester, or yearlong through one of our partner organizations. Through these partnerships students are able to transfer credits to ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, apply financial aid options, and pay the program fee with ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ tuition waived.

These programs are for you if you would like to:

  • Be abroad for a 1/2 summer, full summer, semester, or a whole year
  • Be exposed to living and studying like a localÌý
  • Have the opportunity to take part in local cultural excursions and field tripsÌý
  • HaveÌýhands on support of international staff at location
  • Apply financial aid options to the program fee

ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ students can incorporate a study abroad experience into their degree program by participating in one of the many traditional exchange programs offered through the UCIE. This type of abroad program, is a one to one partnership with another university abroad. Students can study in an intensive language program or can study business, history, literature, science, social sciences and many other areas in either English or the respective language spoken in the host country. Students can study abroad through exchange programs for summer, semester or an entire year. Internships are also available in some countries. All financial aid and scholarships apply to exchange programs as students will continue to pay ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ tuition.

These programs are for you if you would like to:

  • Be more independent
  • Be abroad for a summer, semester, or a full year
  • Be more immersed in the local culture
  • Pay ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ tuition, and use ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ financial aid (all except Angers, France exchange)
