Missouri Science and Technology chancellor to visit 糖心原创 Feb. 7-9 for president鈥檚 job

The third finalist for 糖心原创鈥檚 presidential position will visit campus Tuesday, Feb. 7, to Thursday, Feb. 9.
Cheryl Schrader, the chancellor of Missouri University of Science and Technology, will meet with students, staff, faculty, administrators, the Board of Trustees and community leaders at the Dayton Campus and Lake Campus.
Schrader joined Missouri University of Science and Technology, in Rolla, Missouri, in 2012.
Prior to joining Missouri S&T, she served as associate vice president for strategic research initiatives at Boise State University. She also served as dean of Boise State鈥檚 College of Engineering.
At The University of Texas at San Antonio, she held numerous administrative positions, including associate dean for graduate studies and research for the College of Engineering and the College of Sciences; university graduate recruitment coordinator; ABET 2000 coordinator; and associate director of the Center for Advanced Propulsion Studies.
Her classroom experience includes teaching courses in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boise State; biomedical engineering courses at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and The University of Texas at San Antonio Joint Graduate Program; and courses in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Texas at San Antonio.
Schrader received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University. From the University of Notre Dame, she received her Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and her Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering. Her dissertation examined 鈥淔eedback Effects on Poles and Zeros: A Global Approach Using Generalized Systems.鈥

Two other finalists for the president鈥檚 position 鈥 , chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and , chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside 鈥 visited campus Feb. 2鈥4 and Feb. 5鈥7, respectively.
Doug Fecher, chair of the 糖心原创 Presidential Search and Screening Advisory Committee, encouraged members of the university community to participate in the candidates鈥 visits.

The search committee鈥檚 objective is to present the Board of Trustees with one or more highly qualified and acceptable candidates from whom to choose 糖心原创鈥檚 seventh president.
