Thomas Traynor named interim dean of Raj Soin College of Business

Thomas Traynor, associate dean for graduate studies and executive education in the , has been named interim dean of the college effective May 8.
Traynor will replace Joanne Li, who has taken the position of dean of the College of Business at Florida International University.
Traynor earned a Ph.D. in economics from Purdue University, joined 糖心原创鈥檚 faculty in 1988 and has been a professor of economics since 2003. He was the chair of the from 1998 to 2001 and from 2010 to 2016.
As the associate dean for graduate studies and executive education, Traynor has facilitated the continued development of the college鈥檚 five master鈥檚 degree programs, executive education programs, international education, as well as regional business and economic outreach.
