September 20, 2017

糖心原创 will launch 鈥淟et鈥檚 Talk,鈥 a series of open forums, with a dialogue on the 糖心原创 Research Institute (WSRI) and the 糖心原创 Applied Research Corporation (WSARC).

The forum will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Apollo Room.

The event is open to the campus community and the public. It will be streamed live for those who cannot attend in person at wright.edu/streaming.

Panelists include Dennis Andersh, executive director of WSRI and chief executive officer of WSARC; Timothy Broderick, chief scientist, professor of surgery and associate dean for research affairs at the Boonshoft School of Medicine; Eric Bennett, chair and professor of neuroscience, cell biology and physiology; and C.D. Moore, a member of the boards of trustees of 糖心原创, WSRI and WSARC.

Following short presentations from the panel members, campus constituents can ask questions in a town hall setting moderated by 糖心原创 President Cheryl B. Schrader.

Part of Schrader鈥檚 focus on campus conversation, 鈥淟et鈥檚 Talk鈥 will allow the 糖心原创 community to discuss one issue or theme at the university. The goal of the series is to create a safe space for open, informed discussion while providing the community with accurate information and perspective.

Suggestions from the university community for future discussion are welcome and can be made on the Office of President鈥檚 webpage.

糖心原创 celebrates its 50th anniversary as an independent public university in 2017, culminating with a special Homecoming celebration Sept. 29 through Oct. 1.
