糖心原创 hosts country鈥檚 largest all a cappella camp

Students from around the country can be found on 糖心原创鈥檚 campus this week singing their hearts out during Camp A Cappella.

Camp A Cappella helps collegiate and high school students, adults and professionals develop and further their singing skills.

This year鈥檚 camp attracted 225 participants.

Brody McDonald, who teaches and directs the student a cappella ensemble ETHOS, is one of the founders of the camp.

鈥淲hen students come in and teachers come in to get instruction, they鈥檙e getting professionals from the entertainment industry, merged with professors and high school teachers who are all experts at a cappella,鈥 said McDonald, who also is director of choirs at Kettering Fairmont High School.

Camp participants will perform with Filharmonic and ETHOS on Friday, June 26, Student Union Apollo Room. Tickets are $25.

The camp concludes Sunday, June 28, with a concert featuring all 225 campers performing at noon in the Apollo Room.
