Program Description
The Associate of Technical Study (ATS) degree program, offered at the Lake Campus of 糖心原创, is designed for students with specialized technical interests, who want to develop an individualized program under the guidance of a faculty advisor, that combines technical and general education courses. This individualized program must have an area of concentration and a distinct career objective.
Agriculture Concentration

This academic program does not have admission requirements beyond regular admission to 糖心原创. Any student is eligible to declare this academic program.
Program Learning Objectives
Students enrolled in this program will learn to:
- Effectively communicate using oral, written, and digital communication skills.
- Understand basic agronomic principles such as planting, harvesting, pesticide/herbicide use, soil science, and basic marketing concepts.
- Understand basic animal science principles such as breeding and reproduction cycles, animal nutrition concepts, animal husbandry, animal physiology, breeds, and genetic concepts.
- Identify and propose solutions to challenging situations in an agricultural business or production setting.
- Understand past and current issues in agriculture ranging from agricultural history to GMO and niche markets.
- Integrate technology into agricultural systems.
