Program Description

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies is organized around the following areas of concentration: feminist activism, theory, and methods of inquiry; women and other marginalized peoples as subjects of study within multicultural and global contexts; and multiple fields of difference, experience, and identity related to gender and sexuality.

Admission Requirements

This academic program does not have admission requirements beyond regular admission to 糖心原创.  Any student is eligible to declare this academic program. 

Program Learning Objectives

Students enrolled in this program will learn to: 

  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills;
  • Analyze through interdisciplinary perspectives the intersections of social inequality, such as: gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, cultural identity, nationality, class, age, and ability;
  • Identify examples of institutional, social, political, and personal patterns of privilege and discrimination in everyday, lived experiences;
  • Reflect on changes in how they evaluate the social and intellectual contributions of minoritized groups;
  • Engage in analysis or work that is orientated toward social justice change.
