Just as ����ԭ��’s namesakes, Orville and Wilbur Wright, took the first flight and forever changed the world, ����ԭ�� faculty and staff change the lives of students every day.

During the annual Campus Scholarship and Innovation Campaign (CSIC), faculty and staff can further impact students by making a gift to one of more than 2,000 scholarships and programs.

During this year’s CSIC, which runs from March 21 to April 22, faculty and staff are invited to join the Flight Crew, which consists of more than 685 colleagues who have made gifts during the last four years.

“The Flight Crew is composed of like-minded faculty, staff and retirees who support the mission of ����ԭ�� and its commitment to student success,” said Amy Jones, director of annual giving. “By joining the Flight Crew, you are making a meaningful impact in our students’ educational experience while also investing in the areas of campus that mean the most to you.”

All CSIC donors, who make a minimum gift of $5, are recognized as members of the Flight Crew.

“This is our way of honoring faculty and staff for their support of ����ԭ�� and our students,” Jones said. “We encourage all faculty and staff to come on board to help our students take off to even greater heights of success.”

During last year’s CSIC, 35% of ����ԭ��’s full-time faculty and staff participated, contributing nearly $300,000 to scholarships, programs, emergency funds and athletics.

 For the 2022 campaign, the goal is 50% participation among full-time faculty and staff.
