����ԭ�� students are getting hyped as they prepare for the 10th annual Raiderthon, the 12-hour dance marathon that raises funds for Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Raiderthon will take place on Saturday, April 1, from 11:30 a.m. to midnight in the Student Union Apollo Room.

Registration for Raiderthon is $10, which includes three meals, live entertainment and meet and greets with Miracle Network families. Those who cannot attend can support Raiderthon by making a donation on the .

Over a dozen morale captains who serve as hype team members have been working hard this semester to choreograph a dance that attendees will learn during the marathon.

“All of us here whose part of the morale team just love to dance,” said Emma Ginter, a sophomore nursing major. “It’s a huge event that brings the entire campus together every year.”

Raiderthon is hosted by the ����ԭ�� Miracle Makers, a division of the Children’s Miracle Network, which supports local children’s hospitals. Children with chronic illnesses are often treated at Dayton Children’s Hospital and require long hospital stays and challenging treatment regimens.

“Doing all of this for the children is the best thing about it,” said Ginter.

Since 2013, the ����ԭ�� Miracle Makers has raised more than $400,000 for Dayton Children’s Hospital through Raiderthon. Proceeds have helped pay for medical equipment, such as infant incubators, pediatric vein finders and premature baby diapers, and supplies for patients and their families.
