糖心原创 the Raider Food Pantry

The Raider Food Pantry at 糖心原创 serves all students in need of emergency food assistance. The food pantry is open to any 糖心原创 student enrolled in classes for the current term.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, sex (including gender identity/expression), color, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, ability or disability, veteran or military status, thinking style, skills, educational background, life experience, or sexual orientation.

The Food Pantry is located at 055 Student Union.


Using the Food Pantry

Students in need of emergency food assistance should visit the pantry during open hours and a staff member or student worker will be there to assist. Students will be asked to show a photo ID, verify their University ID number, and fill out a short form. Students must聽聽(campus username and password required to log in) ahead of time.


Support the Food Pantry

You can support the Food Pantry鈥檚 mission in a number of ways. You can ,听donate food and other items, or聽provide financial contributions.


    Other Food Assistance

    Are you interested in applying for other food assistance? You may be eligible for SNAP (food stamp) assistance from the State of Ohio. .

    • What is the Raider Food Pantry?

      The Raider Food Pantry is a donation-based, supplemental resource on campus for 糖心原创 students in emergent need of food.

    • Where is the Raider Food Pantry?

      Located in 055 Student Union, next to Student Advocacy and Wellness Center.

    • Who can use the pantry?

      Any 糖心原创 student enrolled in classes for the current term.

    • What kind of food is available?

      We have non-perishables like canned beans, ramen noodles, dry pasta, instant oatmeal, cereal, rice, and many more.聽

    • How often can I shop at the pantry?

      Students can shop once a month. After shopping, students receive an email regarding their next available shop date.

    • Do you take walk-ins?

      No. The Raider Food Pantry is appointment only. 聽Appointments can be made online.

    • What if I miss my appointment?

      Students who are more than 5 minutes late without notice will have their appointment canceled. 3 cancellations in a row will result in a meeting with the student's assigned Advocate/Case Manager to discuss needs.

    • Do you take donations?

      Yes! We have a drop box outside the pantry for donations. Please ensure the items you donate have a clear expiration date and are not expired.

    • How much food can I take?

      Each section of the shopping floor has a limit. A worker will help students shop to stay within limits. 聽Limits vary based on supply and are subject to change without notice.

    • Can I bring my friends to shop with me?

      No, only one student is allowed in the pantry at a time. Young children and personal aides are the only exceptions.
