How to Receive Your Refund
Students with a credit balance (a negative sign "-" before the Amount Due under Current Account Status; in other words -$15.) will have a refund issued if all eligibility criteria is met.
Please sign up for direct deposit. It is the safest and most secure way to receive your refund.ÌýSign up by logging into your WINGS account:
- Selecting Student Accounts/Bursar Services link in the right-hand column
- Click on Student Account Center
- In My Profile section choose Electronic Refunds
If you do not sign up for direct deposit, please make sure your address is accurate through the WINGSÌýpersonal information tab.ÌýSign up for direct deposit through WINGS and the Student Fees link. Select "Set Up Direct Deposit" under the Student Account Options link.
Stop payments on refunds not received take up to 15 business days from mailing date to reprocess.
For dates on when your financial aid will be disbursed to your student account, visit the Office of Financial AidÌýImportant DatesÌýpage. The Office of the Bursar begins processing refunds two business days after financial aid is disbursed to the student account. Generally, refunds from excess financial aid are sent by direct deposit or by check to the student by the end of the second week of classes provided all requirements have been met.
Students can deposit excess loan monies on their Wright1 Card FA Flex account by going to WINGS and selecting the Student and Financial Aid tab, Wright1 Card and Meal Plan Services, Wright1 FA Flex Deposit Using Financial Aid. If this option is not available, deposits from financial aid can be made in Enrollment Services.

Academic Refund Dates
The university defines official withdrawals or drops as those processed by one of the following methods:
- Online using
- In person in Enrollment ServicesÌýor at the Student Services Office in Dwyer Hall at the Lake Campus.
