Every student has a story. Their own personal journey that brought them to ÌÇÐÄÔ´´. Perhaps they were the high school valedictorian. A veteran returning to school after a tour of duty. A young parent balancing work, school, and family.
Whether they are a first-generation college student, a student with a disability, or a 45-year-old making a career change, each student arrives at ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ with one shared dream: to make a brighter future for themselves and their families. They just need our help to make that dream a reality.
At ÌÇÐÄÔ´´, we are committed to helping our students succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. We meet students where they are and help get them to where they need to be.
You can be part of our students’ success stories by giving your support today.
Providing Academic Support
In 2015, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ opened the Student Success Center—a building completely dedicated to helping students excel in their classes. This state-of-the-art facility features high-tech, active-learning classrooms, along with writing and math support labs.
Prior to the opening of the Student Success Center, academic support such as advising, writing, and math services were scattered all over campus, making it inconvenient for students and less likely that the services would be used.
Now, with all academic support services located under one roof, our students have easy access to all of the tools and resources they need to successfully take on the rigors of college coursework.
Your gift will allow us to continue to provide these services–and even expand them—so we can retain more students and help them complete their degrees. All of us benefit from a better-educated workforce, where college graduates are ready and trained for the jobs of tomorrow.
Enhancing Student Life
Getting involved beyond the classroom is an important part of any student’s college experience. ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ offers a variety of student organizations—from fraternities and sororities to community service groups—that help students learn the skills they need to succeed in life such as teamwork, collaboration, and the importance of giving back.
Various academic departments also provide programs where students can become engaged outside the classroom. From our award-winning Model United Nations team to national robotics competitions, ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ provides a variety of opportunities where students can engage in hands-on learning, explore career options, and expand their resumes.
Your contributions to these academic programs and student organizations are vital to helping ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ provide the full college experience for each of our students.
