The ����ԭ�� Nutter Center will be packed with a raucous crowd Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. And though thousands will cross the finish line, it will not be an athletic endeavor.

Hemant Purohit, a graduate researcher in the Center of Excellence in Knowledge-enabled Computing (Kno.e.sis), was honored for using social media to help disaster relief.

A growing effort by ����ԭ�� to increase both scholarship money for travel abroad and encounters with students who have already done it is under way.

����ԭ�� joins the rest of the nation in celebrating the rich culture of Latinos with Hispanic Heritage Month.

����ԭ��’s Asian/Hispanic/Native American Center to host events across campus from Sept. 9 to Oct. 17.

Staff are recognized for excellence in areas such as leadership, human relations, service, collaboration and innovation.

Enrollment overall — 17,356 students — has increased 1 percent at ����ԭ�� compared to the same time last year.

Interest in learning Chinese has led to a dramatic increase in Chinese language courses, as well as a minor in Chinese studies, at ����ԭ��.
