Co-Curricular Assessment

Co-Curricular programs at 糖心原创 are designed for student learning and development, have articulated learning outcomes for participants, expect multiple touchpoints with student participants, and are not included in the academic curriculum. Programs and activities that do not meet this definition may be classified as support or extra-curricular programs, depending on their primary purpose.听

Assessment of Student Learning听

The assessment of student learning in co-curricular programs follows the university鈥檚 assessment cycle:听

  1. Articulate learning outcomes听
  2. Identify assessment measures听
  3. Develop and deliver learning experiences听
  4. Collect assessment measure results听
  5. Analyze results听
  6. Identify and implement data-informed actions for improvement听

Assessment plans and annual reports are maintained and submitted via the system. Reports are due annually by July 31 and are reviewed by the division Vice President and the Assessment & Accreditation team in the Office of the Provost.听听
