Pilot Course Retention Policy
Overview
ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ will be purging content from our Learning Management SystemÌý(Pilot)Ìýin accordance withÌýourÌýPilotÌýretention policy.ÌýÌýRetention policy for PilotÌýdataÌýcan be found at:Ìý
Academic courses and the associated content within PilotÌýareÌýmaintainedÌýfor 6Ìýyears following the semester in which they were delivered. Courses beyond 6Ìýyears will be scheduled for deletion. Ìý
TheÌýinitialÌýpurge of course content fromÌýPilotÌýisÌýscheduledÌýto startÌýMarchÌý2026. CaTS will beginÌýwith theÌý2010 courses and continue purging a year at a time each month for the next 10 months and end with 2019. Once CaTS isÌýcomplete with these 10 years, we will keep on a schedule of purging content each year, keepingÌýupÌýwith the 6-year retention policy.Ìý

What Does This Mean For Me?
CaTS will notify the instructor of record a month in advance indicating their course is scheduled for deletion. If the instructor has course content they wish to keep, they will need to download this content outside of Pilot. ÌýInstructions on how to download and store course content can be found below.
